Our client is a West Midlands based manufacturer of high precision components for the Aerospace and Automotive sector. They are seeking experienced Setters familiar with multi-spindle lathes. The role is currently days based though double-shift working pattern may develop due to customer orders. The role of Setter will involve the setting and operation of lathes for high volume production.
Setter / Programmer
Our client is a West Midlands based manufacturer of high precision components for the Aerospace and Automotive sector. They are seeking experienced Setters/Programmers familiar with CNC machines. The role is based on a permanent evening shift working Monday to Thursday and involves setting, operating and part programming of CNC lathes. Ideal candidates will be time served and be familiar with one or more of the following CNC machines and programmes - Heidenhein, Mazak or Fanuc, being able to change or modify programmes to aid production.
Purchasing Manager
Our client is a tier 1 automotive supplier based in the West Midlands. To aid their strategy they are seeking to appoint a Purchasing Manager to support internal customers and ensure best cost options. Reporting to the Purchasing Director duties will include co-ordinating and actioning the tendering process, management of risk within the spend, managing the contract and supplier base and managing and mentoring the Purchasing team. The candidate will have 3 years management experience and be degree educated. Desirable is a CIPS qualification and familiarity with automotive methods, strategy development and supplier relationship development.
Technical Sales Engineer
Our client is a low volume manufacturer of specialist electro-mechanical products and assemblies for a world-wide customer base. The role of Technical Sales Engineer will be internally based though occasional travel may be required. This role provides training and exposure to all company systems and departments enabling career progression into Sales, Project Engineering, Production Engineering and Design in line with company needs and individual aims. Preferred candidate for the role will have an understanding of electro-mechanical products, a good telephone manner, strong organisational skills, be able to record information accurately, positive customer service skills and IT ability.

Service Engineer
Our client is an international supplier of electronic devices and systems to the automotive, mass transit and building sectors. The role of Service Engineer will be home based, days, with out of hours and weekend working arranged through agreement. The successful candidate is likely to be qualified to HNC level and have a strong understanding of vehicle electronics supported by knowledge of electronic systems in general and vehicle mechanics. Also knowledge of LPTE, fault diagnosis and repair to at least board level.
